Millar Custom High Grade Mango Tenor Ukulele - 'Patchwork'
This stunning Millar custom mango tenor has earnt the nickname 'patchwork' here at SUS. It features several individually stunning pieces of high grade mango with contrasting depth, hue and colour. The top is both light and dark like the KoAloha Naupaka with its two piece top, the back is much the same and the sides are browner with much more animal print like grain to it.
The mango tenor ukulele is finished off with a stunning white mother of pearl and herringbone style rosette and figured maple binding with herringbone trim. The slotted headstock adds the tiniest bit of tension to the attack of the single notes on this ukulele. Tonally. it is absolutely stunning. There is so much depth and warm lower mid frequencies that it kind of feels like you are playing a piano when you play it!
This is one of a pair with the other custom being at our friend in the North of England - World of Ukes.
