The Ortega Eclipse TE8 is a welcome addition to the Ortega ukulele line and the 8 string ukulele family in general. A great tenor scale 8 string uke with a unique and very modern look, a scoop cutaway side sound port and beveled armrest edge on the upper side of the lower bout.

Solid mahogany top, back and sides are a great fit for an 8 string. The sound is bluesy and a little bit muddy which stops it from being quite so shrill on the ears with all of those high frequencies.
