Pono MTC All Solid Mahogany Cutaway Tenor Ukulele Satin

A very versatile all round performer with a sound that is classic Mahogany. Very rich and lustrous, with a deep bass and smooth trebles, it has good volume and sustain that makes it suitable to play in many different styles. And access to the top frets is a doddle with this one owing to the cutaway.

High quality fixtures and fittings, such as a bone nut and saddle, really help this instrument make the impressive volume that it does. When strumming it, like with all Pono instruments, you notice that it retains clarity and good note definition even when you really give it the beans, never distorting at all or making you feel that you have to back off. And when picking, even quietly, each note rings through nicely, creating a very pretty pattern of harmonics as it does so.
