D'Addario's best selling "lightly polished" string is very similar to the popular Fremont Soloist. A nylon core with a polished flatwound outer layer - preferred for its balance of rich tone and smooth feel. Somewhere between the smoothness of a polished string and a violin string.

This string is the perfect violin style jazz string for Low G players who want something slightly thicker and darker to the touch than a Fremont Soloist or BEB031W
