With gauges heavier than normal Ubass string sets, these strings help to keep optimally balanced string tension on the Blackstar Carry On bass and achieve a rich, full tone. We haven't tried these on anything other than the Blackstar Carry On basses, and aren't certian they wont destroy any other ukulele basses, so for now, stick to what you already know... unless you have the Carry On Bass.
