The Snail tenor ukulele is fabulous. So much so, it's been one of our favourite models since it was first introduced in 2017! This Snail uke is consistently well made with a sound and feel that could be mistaken for something three times the price. The whole range of SUC and SUT Snail ukuleles are world beaters and a safe choice of instrument for a customer buying blind without the luxury of playing the instrument first.

Snail have been around a decade but the impact they have had on the Ukulele scene in Europe is massive; driving the Quality Control on cheaper Ukuleles up and forcing others to follow suit. It seems that many players who previously had their heart set on a Kala, Ohana, Pono or the big brand alternatives have had their head turned time and time again by this plucky underdog.

The styling of the range is very good, the materials used are good, and the finishing is excellent. And the sound, whilst not being the very best that you will EVER hear from a Tenor ukulele, is certainly class leading at the price point. The sound is crisp and clean, without sounding muted like some laminates under £200 can.

Considering these points, and the fact that they come with free gig bags, we would have to say that they are class leading instruments at their price points. And, a perfect instrument for a beginner to cut their teeth on, and being their ukulele journey.

Pictures show an average example.
