Wow, wow, wow! Snail have done it again, with a fantastic new tenor ukulele.

Time and time again Snail have released new instruments that sound not just good but world class and punch well beyond their weight for the price. This Snail tenor ukulele really can compete with the big boys. Until now, the only thing missing was a choice of which solid woods you could choose from.

The SUC-M3 and SUT-M3 have grown to become the most popular solid wood instruments under £500 available here at SUS. Snail's decision to introduce solid top cedar and spruce models had us all eager to open the box.

This Snail tenor ukulele has a solid cedar top and laminated figured ebony back and sides. It has a slotted headstock, unbranded but very sturdy and accurate machine heads. You also get a clean and clinical looking gloss finish and a crisp, clear and dynamic sound.

Like all Snail ukuleles, the instrument is very light in your hands and basic chords ring out in just the most lovely way. Those debating between the spruce and cedar models: I think the cedar is just a tad mellower and a little bit bassier.

10/10 - we can't recommend them enough!
