What an absolute beauty this RT1K singer tenor ukulele from aNueNue really is. The iced tea sunburst gloss finish gives a modern shine to a traditional uke.

aNueNue are among the elite in modern ukulele manufacturing. Often drawing on the worlds top luthiers for their design - the bird series has reinvented the wheel for what a high end ukulele could be. For the first time ever, producing a far east made ukulele that had the Hawaiian K brands looking over their shoulders.

The popularity of the Moonbird over the last 7 years is undeniable BUT for every player out there that loved the sleek modernistic aesthetic design of aNueNue ukuleles, there would be someone out there that wanted something a bit more traditional. That is where these singer ukuleles come in and they are so good it's dangerous!

The singer RT1K tenor ukulele is reminiscent of the acoustic guitars that have dominated the US music world and popularity for nearly 100 years. Everywhere from the Mississippi Delta blue scene to New York's Greenwich Village folk scene, even Nashville's Country music have been awash with sunburst guitars producing beautiful music and the Ukulele has had its place in those scenes along the way.

The singer ukulele series does an absolutely perfect job of taking the nostalgic aesthetic qualities of yesteryear and placing them on instruments with impeccable build quality, modern building techniques, select high quality woods and finishing. Basically its a koabird for people that love traditional looking ukuleles.

The sound is open, clean, chimey, bell like with an impressive volume, resonance and sustain. It sounds like Hawaii and has that modern visual shine but this instruments looks like it would be right at home on stage with the greats of yesteryear.

Pictures show a typical example but they all look consistently good with this shade of finish. Happy to send photos of actual stock by request.
