Details

This beautiful Kanile'a tenor ukulele rings with such impressive sustain and clarity. Kanile'a have consistently made some of the best sounding instruments to leave the shores of Hawaii, but with the new TRU-R bracing system, they are now sounding better than ever.

The clever new bracing is super light and super stiff. It is still arranged in a "touch and release" pattern which touches only where the wood needs support. More of the wood can ring for longer and there is less unnecessary wood to soak up the vibrations of the strings.

It is so rich, full of harmonics and such a treat for the ears. The wood's not bad on the eyes, either! Plus, the inlay on the top is so exquisitely done, it adds that sprinkle of magic to an already amazing instrument. Kanile'a are hitting a golden age right now as they enter their 26th year. We don't see many of the Honu models which makes this one even more special.
