A family run operation, the team at Cocobolo are a tight-knit crew out of Nicaragua celebrating the native wood that gives the company their name. Cocobolo, besides being strikingly beautiful in its figuring, is a supremely dense wood, so much so that it actually sinks in water! Tonally cocobolo is known for its bright, clear tone with rich overtones, strong bass, and sparkling highs, often compared to Brazilian Rosewood but with more mid-range focus, offering great volume, sustain, quick response, and a bell-like growl in the midrange. The player reaps the benefits of these properties through the personal sound-hole, lovely touch.

This pre-owned super soprano has a soprano sized body but with a 15" scale length, offering the bright and cheerful tone of a soprano but with the fretboard space of a concert. It is a lovely example from Cocobolo, showing off the amazing contrasting grain of the wood in style and is built almost entirely from this stunning wood, it even has a cocobolo truss-rod. It's in 9/10 condition and comes shipped in a protective pod-case.
