Essentially, this is a TK20 with the addition (or should that be subtraction?) of a cutaway, and a 3 band preamp and pickup system. Obviously this allows you to plug into effects, amps or PA systems for those larger occasions where you need more than just acoustic volume.
Like the TK20 it sounds full acoustically, with a beautiful mellow tone. The cutaway does not affect the instrument acoustically at all - you still get all the volume, sustain and tone that you expect - but with the addition of easier access to the top frets. And when you get there, the intonation, whilst not quite world class, is very decent indeed.
