The Firefly 5-String is a lightweight 19" scale banjo, tuned to A scale (A,E,A,C#,E) with nylon strings.
The 5-string features the same solid maple components & internal drum head tensioning as the Tenor Firefly Banjo Ukulele. Taking a cue from traditional banjo construction, this model incorporates an adjustable coordinator rod to affect neck angle. But enough of the formalities, it sounds great and is light enough and easy enough to play to be a true alternative to any banjo on the market.
