The craftsmen in Japan pay close attention to details such as intonation, action, playability and cosmetic appearance. Many people replace the black Fluorocarbon factory strings on Kiwayas in an effort to brighten up the Uke and increase the volume but the fitted Fremont strings capture the vintage tone perfectly.
