Kiwaya KTS-5 All Solid Mahogany 17 fret Soprano Ukulele made in Japan

Kiwaya Ukuleles are built as light as possible for tone and projection, and modelled on the vintage Martin models. The craftsmen in Japan pay close attention to details such as intonation, action, playability and cosmetic appearance. The result is extraordinary - these vintage vibed beauties sing with a volume and clarity that is astonishing, but with that lovely warmth of Mahogany. The Fremont Blackline strings really help to cultivate that vintage sound - some people love them, some people hate them - but we always recommend trying them first to see if you do or not. If you don't the best replacement choices for a cleaner and more contemporary sound would be Worth Clear or Martin Fluorocarbon strings.

This is the extended 17 fret soprano model - if you want a standard soprano then look at the KTS-4, which has 12.
