Get your hands on these low G tenor ukulele strings from Kala. They combine clear fluorocarbon strings with a copper wound low G. They're a great string for an instrument that wants some great old fashioned warmth when picked and a nice spikey sound when strummed.

The Kala Elite tenor ukulele strings have a tiny bit more tension than similar strings on the market and the wound low G does really add an element to the overall sound. I imagine classical guitarists would love these strings.
