USED Pono BN-20 BIG BARITONE - Solid Spruce/Mahogany Baritone Ukulele in hard case

What an extraordinary instrument. This is basically a tenor guitar slightly modified to take nylon strings instead of steel in Baritone ukulele DGBE tuning, and it sounds absolutely wonderful! Imagine the biggest, best and most mellow sounding Baritone that you have heard, add more volume, sustain, precise intonation and crisper note definition and you might be half way there.

This second hand instrument is in excellent condition. I found a little mark in the top that might have been there from new and asie from that - it's only 3 months old. The customer found it bigger than they were used to and purchaed it before seeing the new ULN4 series Pono's. Can't really get a better excuse for an instrument being back up for sale than that!

Solid spruce and solid mahogany is one of the classic fretted instrument wood combinations - the spruce provides a really rounded, solid punchy sound, whilst the mahogany lends a degree of mellow refinement. In harmony it is a wonderful combination which sounds great played in any style.
