The sound from the laminate mahogany on this tenor ukulele is excellent - really luscious and full, with good amounts of volume, and decent intonation - which at this price point is hard to achieve. The neck feels very comfortable and familiar in the hand - so not only is it easy on the ears, but on the body - as well as the wallet! If you want a step up or intermediate level instrument on which you can progress quickly without breaking the bank, this uke is really worth considering.

The styling of the entire Snail range is classical but quirky, the materials used are good and the finishing is very decent. Considering these points, as well as the very good quality of sound and the fact that they come with free gigbags, we would have to say that they are class leading instruments at their price points.
