Building out of his workshop in Canada Ken Salomons produces fine instruments, lovingly built one at a time with dedication and focus on coaxing the very best out of the tonewoods he works with. Practicing resonance tuning of the top and back plates, in tandem with intuition honed from years of experience inform his process to create colourful and responsive instruments.

This tenor ukulele is a beautiful example of his work, combing rich and balanced western red cedar with that stunning bubinga for the back and sides. The binding is a combination of maple and black maple with cherry purfling and a maple burl rosette. those super subtle and fret markers and petit inlays are brass rings, and the frets, Evo gold.

Featuring a personal sound port, and crowned with Rubner matt brass tuning keys with rosewood buttons, this epic tenor is fitted with equally epic hardware.

As a pre-owned ukulele model, it does have some signs of having been played. We would give it a 7/10 and have tried to show these signs as well as possible in the images. Fitted with two strap buttons and shipped in a high quality Crossrock hard case, this tenor is a fantastic hand built instrument for a true ukulele enthusiast.
