This electro tenor resonator ukulele is brand new from Kala for 2025. It is even unavailable directly from the Kala website at the time of writing this! We are thrilled to be the first to bring you their latest offering of resonator ukuleles. 

Previously there has only been a very small section for resonators in the ukulele gene pool, with few options at an affordable price. Taking into account all of those who can't stretch to something like a National resonator ukulele, Kala have really done what Kala do best here, and developed a range to satiate the appetites of as many resonator enthusiasts as possible, without breaking the bank.

The KA-RES-COP-T-E is a tenor scale, antique copper finished resonator with mountains of punch and power. If you are unfamiliar with resonators, In place of a traditional soundboard top, the resonator features a brass housing containing an aluminium cone that produces the sound when played, amplifying the natural volume of the instrument.

The heavily patina'd finish gives an almost rat-rod feel to this ukulele, like the ultimate junk-yard find, with accents such as the creme neck binding and distressed finish to the neck stain and Kluson style tuners with a light distressing of their own adding to the aged feel. 

This electro tenor model is also fitted with a piezo passive under-saddle pick-up, which means it's ripe and ready for you to bring it straight to the stage and start ripping some licks right away. As an added bonus, this one also comes with a padded gigbag.
