This Fanner jazzy single cutaway tenor is a compact, slimline electric hollow ukulele with a central chambered block of wood making them perfect for players who like to get a sustaining, clean and complex note when plugged into an amp. The twin F hole design and bolt on neck offer a great vintage vibe but at its core this is a machine that is capable of leading a band and leading the charge in any genre of music imaginable.

Fanner are very proud that most parts are produced in house for these ukuleles with the exception of the pickups and machine heads.

This jazzy tenor ukulele was built for Southern Ukulele Store - the body is hand shaped, sanded and sprayed in house. This method of everything being done by a single luthier or team of brothers really add to the vibe of the whole thing. This is something previously unavailable in the ukulele world. The pickup is a hand scatter wound, wax potted and soaked in hot beeswax p90 with alnico 5 magnets. For many, this is considered the natural upgrade from ukes like the Flight pathfinder and even the more premium priced point Risa solid body ukuleles.

This jazzy has a single venitian cutaway for upper fret access, a vintage looking hollow body and an awesome retro shell pink finish over a reclaimed teak wood top with a 17' scale length. This is a single P90 pickup model. The bridge is a floating bridge which can be easily moved to remedy intonation issues on the fly, the nut is hand carved and the neck is maple with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. It's a machine! We love it.

The fingerboard has flashy abalone block inlays, complimented by a matching abalone style scratch plate. It's a little OTT for some, but for the right person it is everything one could hope for in an electro tenor. Personally, I love it!
