At first look we werereally impressed with the Kala contour series ukuleles, introduced with the view to reimagine classic ukulele styles to highlight that traditional uke sound with a little modern flair in the design.

This truly unique used model is truly one of a kind, the first of its kind and part of the new Kala Deluxe Contour series. It shares the same solid spruce top as the the KA-CT-SSRW-BG-C providing the same clean look, and great attack and resonance with the rosewood back and sides supporting tonal clarity and balance.

The most noticable difference being the additon of stunning mother of pearl purfling to the purpleheart binding both front and back, which is echoed through the fretboard, soundhole rosette and headstock also. This Deluxe contour series Kala also features a personal soundhole and satin finished neck for a smooth feel and an all encompassing playing experience.

The venetian cutaway allows for playability and lends to the modern aesthetic that this lovely uke boasts.

The most important change (and the reason this ukulele costs about 20% more than the normal Contour Ukuleles) is the lattice bracing which stiffens the top with a more modern, lightweight and intricate bracing design that makes this instrument lighter in your hands and louder on your ears than the standard Contour models.
