One lucky Southern Ukulele Store customer is going to be very happy to give this used koa tenor ukulele a new home. 2015 was the year that Kanile'a launched their flagship Platinum ukulele models, which represent the pinnacle of their build and design capabilities.

This Kanile'a ukulele is a super tenor, with a standard tenor scale length, but with a wider bottom bout to give more bass response and sustain, and colour the sound a little bit darker and more interesting.

It features stunning solid curly ka all round, with Kanile'a's UV natural finish, which is a polyester UV hardened satin finish with no grain filler used before being applied. This results in a really lovely earthy, natural and warm sounding instrument.

This preowned model is in pretty beat upshape cosmetically with some deep(ish) scratches and a few knocks in the headstock. We have shown this in the photographs as best as we can. It's been well played yes, but nevertheless this 11 year old uke is a seriously special uke, and real part of Kanile'as history. Shipped in a padded TGI gigbag and fitted with an additional strap button on the heel joint, we are stoked to tell you that as an added bonus this one is fitted with a Misi acoustic trio pickup, highly regarded as one of the best pick-up systems on the market.
