This wonderful addition to the Ohana catalogue features a really gorgeous mix of traditional bling (Abalone throughout) whilst producing a lovely balanced sound thanks to the Solid Cedar top and Solid Mahogany back and sides combo. Pineapple shaped Ukuleles have a distinctive rounded, bassier kind of sound and look that can't be replicated on a conventional waisted instrument, and this uke shows this off in spades. A completely different kind of Concert Ukulele that has enough volume to really make individual notes shine through.

Cedar is a fantastic tonewood but cosmetically can show up some small knots and imperfections in the finish. Still, I don't know why more Ukulele builders are not using Cedar when it produces tonal results like this.
