With the KA-JH-AMHG-C James Hill and Kala wanted to build a slightly flashier model for sure, what with the custom headstock logo which is reflected on the padded gigbag and the abalone soundhole rosette. But fundamentally they wanted to provide a gigging concert ukulele that is stage ready right out of the box. The solid mahogany body brings warmth and response, while a player-friendly neck shape and pocketed frets support smooth progress across the fingerboard.
