The Rebel Double Cheese Solid Spruce/Mahogany Tenor Ukulele Gloss with gigbag

The Rebel have done it again with this sensational Double Cheese tenor ukulele. The solid Spruce top with solid Mahogany back and sides sounds classically fabulous. But, a big part of what makes this ukulele stand out is it's visual simplicity.

The Double Cheese has no binding or fancy cosmetic detail except for the geometric fret dots. You are paying for a well finished and well made ukulele made of good select woods with good hardware, and one strum really brings that home. This ukulele is loud and clear without being too ferocious like some spruce top ukes.

The meaty sustain of each note is apparent and accentuated by the thicker conventional depth body - the Cheesecake is the slimline model in the range. This instrument is direct and very full sounding. It's exactly what many uke players have been looking for at this price and haven't been spoiled for choice.

Phil and I fell madly in love with Rebel at the 2019 NAMM show. We were delighted to be able to share the Rebel experience with our colleagues and customers when opening the delivery for the first time. There isn't a bad or mediocre ukulele in the range. They're all well made ukes you will want to play every time you open the bag.

Sure, the bag is a bit flamboyant and won't be to everyone's taste - but at least you'll always know where you put your Rebel!
