KoAloha KSM-10 Pikake Solid Hawaiian Koa Soprano Ukulele w/TGI ABS Case

This soprano model, the Pikake, has a satin finish, which allows the sound to be a little more open and a little mellower than its glossed sister, the KSM-00. Whilst retaining all of the bombast and vitality in the sound, the Pikake just has the brighter edges smoothed off, sounding a little dreamier and floatier.

KoAloha use no grain filler before applying the satin finish. This allows the instrument to sound as amazing as it does, but it does mean that you have to expect small cosmetic anomalies and flaws, where features and grain in the wood show through the finish.
