Flight Mini J Bass | 23'' Scale Electric Bass Ukulele Lake Placid Blue Finish w/Gigbag (Limited Edition)

Following on from the immense popularity of Flight's mini and mini J bass ukuleles, they are venturing out into a new colour schemes on their more hybrid bass ukuleles. This is the lake placid blue mini J bass and we're lucky to have got in on the initial limited edition run being produced.

The scale length (distance from nut to bridge) is 2'' longer on this bass than Flight's other mini bass and the overall scale of the instruments is enlarged to balance it out. Effectively this is a ukulele bass with more than one foot planted firmly in the world of bass guitar and its twin pickups and J bass control panel make it a perfectly scaled down version of the famous J bass.

The Flight mini bass features a solid body and metal strings. This incredible instrument features standard bass tuning (EADG) in a smaller 23”scale that is perfect for gigging and traveling bass players.  

With a blue metallic finish on a roasted poplar body, modern styled body, roasted maple neck, the instrument has been created to look awesome and be comfortable to play. With Alnico 5 pickups, the mini JB bass offers a clear, sweet tone, depending on what effect pedals and amplifiers you choose to pair with it.
