Rotosound RS77S Flat Wound Short Scale Jazz Bass Strings
Developed in 1966 and wound with the premium alloy Monel, the Rotosound Jazz Bass strings sound deeper and offer more resistance than the more commonly used stainless steel wrap.
The distinctive sound and red silk ends of these bass strings have been revered by iconic bassists such as Roger Waters, Phil Lynott, Sting, John Deacon, Dee Murrey, and Glen Matlock. Every Jazz Bass string is still manufactured the ‘old fashioned way’ by hand on machines that James How built at the end of the 1960’s.
These strings are a fantastic flat wound alternative set for any of the solid body electric bass ukuleles, such as the Kala SB, the Flight mini bass and Flight mini JB.
