It's hard not to fall in love with the looks of this bass ukulele too with its a highly figured bocote laminate body. This uke has a nice thin comfortable neck profile, black open back bass tuners and a satin finish, all making it look and sound great. Plus, it's fitted with Fishman's impressive Classica II system which runs on a 9v battery. That means it kicks out a lot more punch and volume than the polyurethane strung baritone uke size basses on the market.

The string tension is suitably light despite being a bronze metal wound strung instrument. Plus, the acoustic volume this electric ukulele produces far-surpasses the competition out there from Gold Tone, Ohana and Cordoba.

Lanikai's bass ukulele scale length is longer than most at 23.4 inches. Their instruments do not feel daunting to play though, and remain a good lightweight option to a full size bass.

This used model is in 8.5/10 condition with a little shining here and there from being played. Besides that it's in great shape and comes with its original padded gigbag.
