Here we have a truly special pre-owned ukulele from Kanile'a. The Diamond series really paved the way for the KTR-ST PRO that we know and love today. This 2016 model is a super tenor that has really only been surpassed by it's offspring due to new technology. Very true to Kanile'a history however it is still a monumentally beautiful looking, playing, and most importantly, sounding ukulele built from master grade Hawaiian koa by the best in the business.

The Diamond was a masterpiece of precision and symbolism, brought to life by the unique Kailua Beach Sand inlays that adorn its fretboard, side markers, and logo. The crowning jewel is the diamond inlay at the 12th fret, inspired by Kaimana Souza’s shoulder tattoo, a reflection of his connection to his name and his Hawaiian heritage. These sand inlays are more than decorative—they embody a piece of Kailua, grounding the instrument in the beauty of its birthplace. With every touch, the Diamond ukulele radiates refined craftsmanship and a profound sense of place, making it not just an instrument, but a personal connection to Hawaiʻi’s spirit and culture.

A super tenor is a conventional tenor with a stretched lower bout to the body to simulate the sound and tone that a baritone ukulele might produce on a more conventional size. Super tenor ukuleles have a natural depth and boom about them that you can't reproduce on a normal Tenor; the jumbo of jumbo ukuleles without having to have something that feels like a small guitar in your hands.

In this very rare instance, despite being a model built in 2016, it is pristine. We went over this one with a fine toothed comb and it is in a good shape as when brand new Diamond models were arriving back when they were first in production. This is partly to do with the 6/10 condition of the hard case it is supplied with, doing its job spectacularly well and baring the scars to show it.
