Wow! This is a very classy concert ukulele made with a classic combination of solid spruce on the top, and solid rosewood on the back and sides. Spruce is a great choice for instrument soundboards because it has a very tight, straight grain, which is very good at making soundwaves without distorting them at all. So, on this instrument you can expect a bright but balanced sound with plenty of volume when required, and excellent clarity when strummed or picked quietly.

The solid rosewood back and sides help to maximise the volume and clarity of the sound produced by the top. As rosewood is a very hard wood, it really bounces the sound out of the soundhole without absorbing many of the vibrations, which helps with volume, clarity, projection and sustain. The ebony and bone fixtures and fittings also help to maximise the volume and sustain, especially noticeable when playing in positions up the neck. All in all a very classy instrument suitable for many different styles.
