Here we have a used
Pono baritone ukulele RBSH-PC with a cedar top, in good condition and playing order, in the original Pono
hard case. It is in 8.5/10 cosmetic condition, with a few wormy marks and a small ding from changing the strings on the bottom bout near the bridge, and a few other small marks dotted around. But only marks consistent with light domestic usage!
The cedar top really works well with the
baritone ukulele frequency spectrum, enhancing the lovely bassy sounds and warming them nicely, without compromising on clarity of sound or volume. The sound is deep, complex and interesting, and the sustain, precision of the intonation, and the sheer volume is excellent. It also has a slight radius on the fretboard, which is almost imperceptible, but helps to make playing it feel very easy indeed.
It is a joy in the hand, feeling really solidly well made, with a high degree of accuracy and care applied to the construction and finishing.
