Ohana TK50 All Solid Cedar and Indian Rosewood Tenor Ukulele (NAMM 2023 Prototype)

Ohana have given us what feels like another uke we have all been waiting for with this TK50 all solid cedar and Indian rosewood tenor.

This tenor ukulele is an unapologetically loud, monstrous tenor. It has a solid cedar top and solid rosewood back and sides - a projecting mix of soft and hard woods. This ukulele can be heard completely crisply and clearly across the length of our 40 foot long showroom. It sounds big and just so confident, and the sound can be turned to any style of playing.

It would take a low G string really nicely, as cedar has the warmth and presence in the lower register to get the very best from it.

This is a complex tenor ukulele with a sound reminiscent of a classical guitar when you pick it but has all the depth and grace of a rhythm instrument when you strum it.
