Ohana CK35CE Concert Electro Ukulele Cutaway All Solid Mahogany Satin

Great looking and sounding electro acoustic uke, combining all the sexy sound characteristics of the all solid mahogany CK35 with onboard electronics and a cutaway to allow access to the dusty end of the fretboard.

Acoustically, the sound is on the darker side, mellower than spruce or koa, which is what you expect from solid mahogany. However, it is nice and balanced with a rounded bass response and a bright treble - and the sound opens up when you strum harder, so you can achieve a very good dynamic range with this concert ukulele. Delicate fingerpicking sounds very poised, and strumming sounds luscious, and can get very loud if required!

Plugged in you have the added advantage of cutting and boosting your frequencies to suit - the sound from the pickup is very natural and would grace any ensemble at any volume.
