The solid mahogany top gives the kind of full and rounded, warm sound that you expect from Mahogany, and the volume is impressive unplugged. When plugged in, you of course have the cut and boost option so that you can sculpt your sound the way that you want it. And the cutaway makes access to those dusty top frets a lot easier, so now you have no excuse!
