This 6 string laminate mahogany standard tenor ukulele from Lanikai is a fantastic instrument. It's got a wonderful price tag, sounds good, and feels great in the hand.

If you're looking to branch out into the wonderful world of the 6 string ukulele, this is a great starter instrument. A 6 string is a high G GCEA ukulele with additional course of strings added to the C and A strings. The result is a higher octave on your C string and a low A note at the tail end of your strum.

The wider nut width at the affordable end is a massive bonus - a beginner with bigger hands will love this. The slotted headstock with chrome open back tuners looks regal and traditional and the uke even comes with a padded gigbag. Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

It's been a while since we had Lanikai ukuleles here at Southern Ukulele Store... One of the true pioneering ukulele manufacturers of the 2000s the brand did go a bit quiet for a while there... Every now and again, something interesting would come along like the mini basses or acacia solid series but the MA-6T is a true throwback.
