Brand new from L.Luthier! We've gotten to know these stunning ukes over the last few years and it's so exciting to have a brand new model in our hands.

This latest tenor, to the uninitiated, may look like the old familiar Manga model with a cedar top slapped on it, and in a way they're right. However, cedar being such a soft wood requires modern injinuity and the builders at L.Luthier have completely overhauled their lattice bracing system to embrace the sustain that cedar holds in its core. Warmer and more rounded than the mango model, as one would expect from cedar, this new model is a welcome addition to the L.Luthier roster, offering a fuller sounding uke to a bright and bouncy team. The intonation is really very good indeed, and will allow playing accurately in any position.

This is the central sound-hole version of the cedar range from L.Luthier, but never fear, if you're of a modern mind, they have also built a cedar model with the very recogniseable off-set soundhole you've seen in previous models.

The pickup system is extremely capable too. With any piezo/mic blend system, you will find that mixing in too much of the mic can lead to distortion, but mix in around 1/3 and it adds a depth and realism to your sound which is just gorgeous.
