KoAloha KTM-00MR 'Makers Reserve' Western Red Cedar Maple Hawaiian Koa Tenor Ukulele w/hard case

With wood selected by Alex with Paul Okami at KoAloha in the custom shop, the Koaloha KTM-00MR proudly wears the label of 'Makers Reserve', a new line replacing the old Red & Black Label series.

This gorgeous re-imagining of the beloved KTM-00 is built from lovely straight grained Western Red Cedar with some beautifully figured Hawaiian Koa for the rest of the body. Richness and balance are brought right to the forefront of the higher frequencies with that cedar top, pulled back in and sweetend by the koa.

Adding a touch of something special, the KoAloha custom shop team chose to frame the sound-hole of this limited range with crescent moon shaped "Koa leaf" inlays and a crown in the centre in abalone, a doff of the cap to that supremely special wood that brings a subtle touch of class without going overboard.

As with the original KTM-00's we still enjoy the comfort of KoAloha's 37mm nut width with atop the ebony fretboard and of course cap the whole shabang with KoAlohas regal five pointed crown headstock. Abalone makes it way up the fretboard in the markers and to the logo also.

Shipped in a freestyle woodshell case, this is something very special from KoAloha that stands out amongst already special ukuleles.
