Kiwaya Ukuleles are built as light as possible for tone and projection, and modelled on the vintage Martin models. The craftsmen in Japan pay close attention to details such as intonation, action, playability and cosmetic appearance. The result is extraordinary - these vintage vibed beauties sing with a volume and clarity that is astonishing, but with that lovely warmth of Mahogany. The strings really help to cultivate that vintage sound - some people love them, some people hate them - but we always recommend trying them first to see if you do or not. If you don't the best replacement choices for a cleaner and more contemporary sound would be Worth Clear or Martin Fluorocarbon strings.

Like the KTC-2 This is the extended 17 fret concert model with added deluxe cream binding - if you want a standard concert size then look at the KTC-1, which has 12.
