Kiwaya KPC-1K Strummer Series All Solid Koa Concert Ukulele Gloss

As with all Kiwaya ukuleles, this little beauty is built extremely lightweight and rigid for optimal volume and projection. It's from a new range for Kiwaya called their "Strummer" series, which is designed with the Hawaiian strumming sound in mind.

Obviously the choice of solid Koa helps achieve this massively - the sound is typically Hawaiian, bright and bubbly with plenty of note definition in the sound. Never muddy, it has a beautiful clarity, and fabulous sustain. Although designed with strumming in mind, fingerpicking doesn't sound shabby at all - in fact, it sounds crisp and clear, just as you would want.

As with all Kiwaya ukes, the build quality is spotless, and the feel in the hand is pure quality. As it opens up, it will only start to sound better and better, and it will surely last a long while!
