Kanile'a Islander SAC-4 Concert Ukulele All Solid Acacia

This Kanile'a Islander concert ukulele model sports all solid Asian acacia top, back and sides. Like koa, acacia has a very nice balanced tonal response, accented towards the brighter side. We have played one of these for a few days since the delivery arrived, and it is already opening up, and sounding fuller and lusher every day.

One of the most attractive things about this concert ukulele is the slightly wider than normal fretboard, which at 1.5 inches or 38mm at the nut makes getting your fingers into the right shapes an absolute doddle. Combine that width with a very slinky neck profile and you have a very easy to play instrument.

Note: The Islanders are a fantastic choice at this particular price point but they do suffer from cosmetic flaws and small finish defects like other Chinese made production instruments. We do our best to capture major issues but you may find some small imperfections on close inspection that cannot be avoided.
