Kanile'a Islander MAPG-4-C Concert 4 string ukulele Flamed Maple DISCONTINUED MODEL
We have big love for the Kanile'a Islander concert ukulele, and this discontinued model offers the chance for you to grab a real bargain. It's an intermediate level Kanile'a made to the same exacting standards as the expensive Hawaiian koa models
When you see this model for the first time, the thing that strikes you square between the eyes is the beauty of the wood. It is almost holographic in its appearance - but don't think that it is all about the way it looks! It sounds really well rounded and very sweet, with a very impressive volume.
One of the most attractive things about this model is the slightly wider than normal fretboard, which at 1.5 inches or 38mm at the nut makes getting your fingers into the right shapes an absolute doddle. Combine that width with a very slinky neck profile and you have a very easy to play instrument.
This Kanile'a Islander concert has been listed as B-stock because it has a few cosmetic niggles. Nothing uncommon at this price but perhaps slightly more noticeable on close inspection due to the lighter wood finish of the ukulele... Still a great uke for the price! Someone is going to love it.
