We all know about the Kala uBass 1 by now - it is the rumbly bottom line in many an ensemble the world over - so there is no need to explain the concept. This model is exactly the same as the uBass 1 except that it has laminate Exotic Mahogany as opposed to the dull dark brown Mahogany. The pickup, preamp and everything else is exactly the same.

It has the factory fitted Pahoehoe strings, Walnut freboard and bridge, the Shadow preamp system with built in tuner and individual piezo pickups in the compensated bridge. For about the nicest looking uke bass, which also makes that lovely warm woody thumpy noise, look no further!
