This laminate flamed maple Kala is a fantastic throwback to the cherry sunburst guitars of the 1960s and tobacco burst guitars of the banner era bluesman of old!
It looks great but also sounds lovely with a slight sizzle and bubbly tone. This concert ukulele is perfect for all elements too. It doesn't suffer from the classic weightless tone a lot of other laminates at this price can have.
I also like the machineheads which are a really smart delta blues-esque open gear plate with an aged finish.
