Kala KA-EBY-T Striped Ebony Tenor Ukulele
We're really excited to bring you these stunning Kala tenor ukuleles made with stripy Indonesian ebony. They have a gorgeous, unique stripy chocolately look and the wood has a natural depth of sound and lots of sustain. You get a great sound and a gorgeous instrument that offers much more than the price suggests, especially when compared to other ukuleles at this price.
A lovely maple binding on the top and back is a welcome addition and stops this ukulele from looking too dark. In this price range, the Kala ebony series is an excellent alternative to a solid mahogany instrument.
Ebony is traditionally used on fingerboards and as decoration on other instruments but as the Snail ukuleles and Koki'o ukuleles have proven in the past year, stripy ebony is an excellent wood in ukulele manufacturing.
