Looking to take the sound of your Kala u-bass to the next level? Then replace the strings of your 5-string u-bass with the Kala metal round wound string set.

These strings have a nylon core with a silver plated winding (like a big classical guitar string) that provide accurate intonation and a warm but powerful sound.

Even though this set is designed for the Kala u-bass, you can also use it on similar models by different brands such as the Countryman, Korala and Islander basses. They will not work with the Kamoa bass, Ohana bass or the Aquila short-bass.
