At first glance one might mistake the Flight Nora for a steel strung 4SB baritone ukulele, but dig just a little deeper and you may begin to put together a picture of years of development culminating in something brand new from Flight. The deep dark mirror gloss finish of the bright and snappy solid sitka spruce top is adopted from the 4SB range for sure, as is the mango rosette, binding and trim of the scalloped cutaway. However, that’s where our pathways diverge and swing towards a more classic steel string acoustic guitar sound, with warm and resonant mahogany giving balance to the snap of the spruce.

Designed with aesthetic and functionality in mind, Flight have included the ever-popular Indian rosewood bridge and fretboard with upgraded Flight custom golden machine heads for precision tuning and playability. The Nora is a striking addition to the Flight roster and is a bright glimmer for the future of ukulele development. We are stoked to see companies like Flight bold enough to see gaps in the market and taking the leap to fill them.

The Nora features the same double C1U pickup system we are already familiar with should you need to amplify or record it and, of course, comes complete with a padded Flight gig-bag.
