Flight DUS330 Spruce/Zebrawood Soprano Ukulele - RELIC FINISH

Made of distressed laminate spruce and laminate zebrawood, the Flight DUS330 Relic is a very unique soprano ukulele. There is something whimsical and romantic about musical instruments that look like they have been through the wars and the trend for ages guitars has been huge for more than a decade now.

Flight are one of the first we have seen introduce a budget instrument like this. The laminate spruce top has a dusty grey/brown colour to it making it look like someone loved it but didn't really look after it for the last 40/50 years. the back and sides have been sanded back to simulate heavy wear. The key thing though is that the aging extends to the neck and the uke feels 'lived in'. It's fun to look at and even more fun to play... It certainly won't be to everyone's taste but the concept is cool and no doubt this will be first Flight model like this but not the last.
