Flight Aurora Solid Spruce Top Electro Acoustic Baritone Ukulele w/Gigbag

It's here! It's here, the first of what will hopefully be a long series of professional quality Flight Aurora solid spruce top electro acoustic baritone ukuleles.

Taking inspiration and the team that build Flight's famous Fireballs, Voyager and Mustang ukuleles - we now have this affordable, all singing all dancing baritone ukulele. Featuring a solid spruce top with a very resonant laminate rosewood back and sides, this ukulele has a really reassuring 'jumboness' to it when you hold it in your hands.

There are two schools to how you build the perfect baritone ukulele and Flight have taken inspiration from modern Hawaiian designs by building a rich, full sounding, dark and deep baritone ukulele here but with volume and the projection you commonly expect from a spruce top. With a slightly wider 38mm nut width, the string spacing is nicely spread out making this a great option for a tenor playing wanting a bit more bass to the sound and/or a bit more space on the fingers.

It is also one of the rare baritone ukes out there with a pickup already installed! The reliable and well loved double C1U which is an active pickup with soundhole mounted tone and volume controls. This pickup can be as good as the amp you plug them into, its not going to hold you back!

This baritone features a scoop style bevelled cutaway and a more conventional paddle headstock design with lovely open gear gold tuners. It comes strung with Low D DGBE tuning from Flight, a rosewood fingerboard and string thru-bridge as well as unique 'aurora' inlays on the fingerboard. It even comes with Flights signature padded gigbag... Yay Flight.
