D'Addario J4505LP Lightly Polished Single Wound Low D Ukulele String (Bartione DGBE)

D'Addario's best selling "lightly polished" string is very similar to the popular Fremont Soloist. It has a nylon core with a polished flatwound outer layer - preferred for its balance of rich tone and smooth feel. It falls somewhere between the smoothness of a polished string and a violin string.

This string is too thick and heavy tension to work as a low G but does a fantastic job on baritone ukuleles as a low D string.
